I'm the second owner of the car. I rang Hyundai dealer in Australia hoping that they would fix my issues. When I spoke with someone unfortunately the car is 9 years old so out of warranty but for 9 years old the exterior paint shoud not peel, very poor and thin paint only. I always look after my car, so I am quite disappointed and I would never buy Hyundai again.

Paint flakes off at seams. Huge pieces of paint missing from body exposing the metal underneath. I have seen other Accents with the same bare spots.

The dealer said once 36000 miles has past, Hyundai doesn't do anything for bad paint, even after a body shop told me this did not meet standards. Some areas have way more paint than others. If it keeps coming off, I will have a car with no paint left on it.
