after fill - fuel light flashes and tank shows empty My daughter filled up the car on a trip. When she started the car - the fuel light was flashing and the electronic gauge showed no bars. The engine malfunction light came on as well. After about 50 km's the gauge reset and the fuel light stopped flashing, The engine malfunction light turned off after a day or so.,
This was at 99600. I got the car back and took it to the dealers when the problem happened againa nd showed them. it was now 103600. Oh out of warranty and about $200 - $300 . Really - I started at 99600!
This now happens every time the car is filled. it appears to be the same thing the Santé Fe had.
Anyone else having this issue?
Update from Feb 8, 2016: An updating - I did get a phone call from my dealership.
They are negotiating with Hyundai to see if they can get a warranty service request for the problem.
I hope they are successful.
