When going uphill the transmission shifts to a lower hear but there is no power to the wheels even though the engine is hitting 4 to 5 thousand rpm. I had to put my 4 way flashing lights on until I got to the top of the hill. At this point I could only maintain 30 -35 mph. Cars flying around me doing 65-70. This was not fun. I was on my way to where I bought it to get it inspected. Now I have only had the car for 9 months and it will take over $2,000 to fix it. When I asked what to do about the power issue I was advised to put some dry gas in the tank as it might be dirty injectors. O----K and I will try and track down a used rear axle assembly O might find one for less than $880.79 and $359.00 labor.
Also left and right control arms for the front end @ $221.61 each plus $199 labor. Mine months ago I was told what a really good car I was buying and what a great deal it was. How they had gone over it with a fine tooth comb to make sure I would be satisfied with it. Not to complain, but I am retired on a fixed income and a heart attack and cancer survivor. Thanks to Jeff, Dan,Tom and Paul for all the help. &$%*#"
