Had a sudden sound of clattering / grinding when letting off the gas at any speed. Took to two mechanics which confirmed it was an internal transmission problem. Elected to replace transmission. Almost all miles were highway miles and transmission fluid and gasket were replaced as suggested by maintenance schedule.
