Vehicle's had a high idle, which caused unexpected acceleration. Dealer has repaired the defective part, but problem still exists. After the repair, both the throttle position sensor and the pulse generator had gone bad. Dealership refused to cover parts because they were out of warranty. Finally they agreed to replace the throttle position sensor free of charge. The consumer had to pay for the pulse generator to be replaced. Consumer feels the prescription outlined in the recall wasn't sufficient to correct the emissions defect.
