The contact owns a 2009 Hummer H3. When the key was placed in the ignition, the vehicle misread the key and disabled the fuel line. The vehicle became temporarily inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the anti theft pass lock system failed and would need to be repaired. The vehicle was repaired twice for the issue, but the failure recurred. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was unknown.
