My power windows still have power to them even if the ignition is off and the key removed. I have a dog that is with me constantly and sometimes it is necessary to leave him in the vehicle when I run into a store. Even if I turn off the engine and remove the keys he can still out the windows down. When I am driving down the road even if I have the window lock on he puts his paw on the arm rest and lowers the window. This may sound funny to most people but not to me. My dog is my best friend and I can't take him with me to the store because I can't secure him in the vehicle
