wiring for trailer lights rubbed through on frame in between bumper and body and shorted out. moved wire down and shot flex seal on them to reseal them and tied down replaced running light fuse all good know

wiring harness melted

I was told that the part wasn't available at this time from the dealer but I can order it AGAIN and pay for it AGAIN. Is there a permanent fix for this issue?????
