The contact owns a 2006 Hummer H3. While driving approximately 75 mph the contact heard a squeaking noise in the steering column. The noise could be heard was heard while driving 35 to 75 mph and the high pitch of the noise would change whenever the wheel was turned. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer who stated that the left front hub bearing assembly was loose and worn. The hub assembly was replaced by the dealer. The failure and current mileages were 69,548.
