Sunroof drains leaked and saturated the carpet. Removed the carpet and found seatbelt anchors very corroded. (see photo) this condition appears to be from water collecting in the anchor attachment area.

Driver seatbelt gets stuck and I can't get out. Car won't start. Wait ten minutes with the key in first position then it starts. It will take some girl like myself stuck in a dark parking lot with a car that doesn't start for ten minutes.

The contact owns a 2006 Hummer H3. The contact stated that the seat belt warning light was illuminated for twelve months. The check engine and the evaporation system lights had also been illuminated since 2000. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that the failure could be related to the evaporation system and gasoline cap but the dealer was unable to determine what caused the failure to occur. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 38,000 and the current mileage was 79,000. The VIN was not available.
