Bought a Beautiful 2006 HUMMER H3 with 120,000 miles on it. After getting home I heard a noise coming from the rear suspension. It was intermittent while going over large bumps/holes. After getting under the car come to find out the frame is complete junk. Rust everywhere along with a detached Passenger rear shock.
I have bought 10's of cars/trucks over the years(I'm 64 years old) and HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS ON ANY CAR/TRUCK that I have purchased!!!
THIS IS A MANUFACTURING FAULT!!!
I want GMC/HUMMER to do the right thing and replace my frame!! IT IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE!!!
Someone is or has been seriously injured or killed by this defect.
It's an older car so I understand some surface rust and a few holes. But to be completely rotted away and ready to break in half?? This should not be allowed to happen in this day and age of advanced metal treatments.
Come on GMC...MAKE IT RIGHT, PLEASE!!
