It was a usual Monday morning, I was driving to work, turn onto a quiet street, with no other cars on the road. I took a left turn into a public parking spot, slowly and with hands on the wheel, and suddenly my truck assist comes on and there was a jerk, and the truck brake assist stops the truck, 1/2 way into the parking spot? I'm not sure why?
I must have then touched the gas pedal to continue into my parking spot and at that moment, the truck RESUMES the speed in which I was driving before the brake came on... and runs me into a brick wall. No, the cruise control was NOT on. I don't know why the brake came on? I don't know why the computers took over and drove me into a wall? There was over 15K in damages. Called HONDA, they said I can turn off the brake assist in the future to avoid issues??? I need a lawyer!
