Groaning noise when stopped, dealer performed TSB replacing power steering pump and bracket, did help, about 50% of noise reduced but noise is still humming away. Took back to dealer 3 times and opened a case with Honda. Honda now says it is normal for a new car to make humming and groaning noises while stopped.
After checking on the internet this seems to be a problem Honda is having with all their vehicles based on the same engine. Pilot, Odyssey and Ridgeline owners are all complaining about this noise since Honda changed the design. Becoming more disappointed in Honda after problems with our 03 CRV and having to lemon law a new 2006 Civic and repeated problems with our 08 Civic, Honda did take care of those issues but not any more, Very disappoint in lack of response from Honda, this was my 9th Honda and may be my last. Honda seems to be suffering from the hubris of of past success and they've become the new GM.
Update from Feb 12, 2014: Well, we filed a lemon law case and we are waiting for Honda to respond. It's a shame, I like the truck but not the response from Honda, like most businesses these days once they get your money they do not care if you every come back.
