Driving on the highway after driving through about 8" of snow, the steering wheel started to shake so bad had to pull over and check that the wheels were tight. This was caused by snow on the inside of the rim ice would roll around acting like a wheel weight.this could cause someone to loose control of their car. This seems to be a poor design today is 2/1/2011 in boston it snowed about 7" driving home the same problem happen.I had to clean out the snow from the inside of the rim. I should not have to do this after driving through deep snow.
