The contact owns Michelin tires, model ltx M/S lt 225/75 R18 that was being used on a 2010 Honda ridge line. The contact stated that the tires continued to lose air. The contact took the vehicle to a local mechanic, who replaced the air sending unit. The repair did not remedy the issue. The contact did not call the manufacturer. The failure mileage was 25,500. The tire failure mileage was unknown.
Michelin tires ltx ms P245 60R18 - cracking sidewalls/dry rotting. Honda dealer said my sidewalls were cracking and/or dry rot. My Honda truck has 43,000 miles and tires have been maintained. Michelin has recall July 12, 2013 which details similar issue for similar line of tires. Mine not covered.
