Takata recall air bag last spring took about 5 or 6 months before my dealership in dubuque Iowa even got them in. I called a couple times since this was unsafe to drive me and my family around on trips and so fourth. Still got a response that Honda created the recall with numerous companies, and can't produce all these airbags. Maybe they should of thought of that B4 the recall.... so I think Honda or someone should of paid me compensation for driving a vehicle around that wasn't safe at all if I was involved in a crash in some way? I don't know exact date the first airbag recall came out

I received a letter from Honda in July 2016 stating that my passenger-side airbag was recalled due to a faulty inflator. The letter states that replacement parts "will become available in late summer/fall of 2016." We are now into the third week of January 2017, and when I spoke with Honda last week I was told that parts were still not available. I have not been able to Transport passengers for 6 months and Honda could give me no estimate as to when I can expect my vehicle to be repaired.

Takata recall. Front passenger seat has been unusable since a July, 2016 notice from Honda stating that the front passenger seat should not be occupied until the airbag has been replaced. Planet Honda in lakewood Colorado ordered both front airbags on 7/6/16 since I had not been notified from Honda that parts were available. I finally received notice from the dealer that parts were in and the dealer installed the driver's side bag on 9/17/16, but informed me that the passenger-side airbag had not arrived, but still on order. I have checked with the dealer two times, and been informed that the parts are still unavailable. This delay is causing great inconvenience in my family because of lack of passenger capacity. I get the feeling that Honda is not complying with this recall in a timely fashion

Takata recall - received a recall notice for the driver side airbag in March 2016 (16V-061) and then a passenger side airbag in July 2016 (16V-344). In July, I requested the dealer put me on a list to address the recall. Three months later, and my dealership still does not have the parts to fix the airbag inflator issue. Furthermore, the dealer stated that Honda was no longer providing an alternative form of transportation while waiting for the parts.

Takata recall--no incident has occurred yet. I am still waiting, since May 2016 for relief, unable to use the passenger front seat of my vehicle. I am tired of waiting, and of being unable to use my vehicle as I need to. Please help me get this fixed, or a vehicle I can use while I wait. This is affecting my business drastically, as well as my family, as I need to carry passengers during the majority of my driving. This issue involves the NHTSA recall 16V-344.
