Have not been able to isolate the cause. Took to dealer, but he had no idea what could cause it. There are no computer program updates from Honda, no tech notes, etc. Hangups have occurred 5 or 6 times. Odometer, trip mileage, oil life, reset capability -- all lock up. No mileage is recorded. Eventually, system starts working (hours to days later) and apparently reflects mileage accumulated during the lock-up. Suspect cause is when the driver's door is opened after the engine is running and the door locks locked. I have a Honda approved, dealer installed theft system --- the culprit???
