Complete separation of tread from the sidewalls; Michelin ltx oem light truck tire. The tread remained in one piece but there was a clean & complete separation from the sidewalls approx. 2 inches from the bead [both sides]. there was no warning [vibration, rumbling, loss of control, etc.] until the failure at approx. 65 mph on interstate 93, concord, nh. It was a clear, cold [17 deg. F] day with no obstructions or debris in or on the highway. [note: I have several photos of the tire in question after the separation].
