  1. At a constant speed of approximately 45 mph, level surface or slight uphill grade, transmission in OD, torque converter locked, I experience a slight vibration and audible tone coming from the engine compartment. In addition, that tach reflects a slight pulsation in engine rpm at approximately 1500 rpm. This is the same description as in the Odyssey and Element recalls which indicates a faulty torque converter.

I meticulously maintain my vehicles. The fluids are fresh, vehicle is always cleaned and waxed. I do not tow or take vehicle off road. I drive at speeds of 45 to 55 mph to my place of work on a daily basis . These issues are not from abuse but from some defects from the manufacturer. It is my hope that Honda will address this problem. The Honda Ridgleine and Odyssey share the same components so, it is fair to say the issues would be the same for bothe and therefore, a recall on the Ridgeline is justified.
