After I start my truck (engine is cold) and after a second put it into gear (drive) it wants to or does stall out on me. This problem does not occur if I let my engine warm up just slightly meaning my temperature needle just barely comes off the cold resting position. When driving my truck after a few minutes, if the engine is still cold it will want to die on me every time I come to a stop, but as long as my foot is on the gas it will run just fine.
My engine light is on and it says I am having misfires on multiple cylinders and bank 2 is enriched. O'Rileys Auto told me I probably needed a tune up. After only replacing spark plugs with the same brand and type it did not help. I was told by a national chain car maintenance shop that a tune up for my truck only required the spark plugs being replaced nothing else.
Any direction would be great at this time as I don't have time to be without my vehicle at the moment for repairs. I also don't want to wait until it is too late and do damage to the motor or something along those lines.
