My son owns a 2006 Civic. They had a recall on his paint which is EXACTLY the same color of my 2006 Ridgeline (black). He got a recall notice and got his hood repainted. I asked the dealer about the bad paint on my Ridgeline and there was no recall on the Ridgeline! WTF!!! It has the same paint! ! I thought I had a nice truck, but it looks like I should have purchased a Ford or GM truck instead.
Nighthawk Black paint I believe from Canada. Not sure when the very first cracks appeared but when reported to dealer was told it was just out of warranty and the checked with corporate who said they would not cover it because they have cut back on "goodwill gestures". I have seen on this site where 06 civics with the same paint from Canada are having this problem also.
