After 10 years of ownership, experienced serious leaks from both left and right axle seals over the course of one year. Had both seals replaced by Honda dealer. Seals functioned fine for a few months, but then experienced failure of both seals again accompanied by whining sound coming from transmission when accelerating beyond 30 MPH. Honda dealer determined that differential bearings had worn out after only 72,000 miles on the vehicle and one owner. New transmission is required at quoted cost of over $4,500 (dealer repair).
