So, have never had this issue occur on any of my previous cars. But was riding down the highway on our way back home from holiday travel. Went to use the windshield wiper fluid to clear some of the road salt on the windshield and the sprayer splashed fluid for maybe half a second then it stopped completely. I knew enough not to insist on using the function as to not create a larger problem. After the holidays, took the car to the local Honda dealer who fixed the issue under standard warranty. Looks like the windshield wiper fluid I was using had coagulated around the windshield wiper fluid filter as you can see in the picture. They were very kind, explained what had occurred and fixed it with no issue at all. They cleared and cleaned the filter and also cleaned the lines and refilled the fluid tank with Honda windshield wiper fluid. They also explained that at the bottom of the fluid tank... Some sort of gunk buildup had occurred. Kind of like "Coffee beans", or coffee pellets had formed and that the fluid line was sucking those up for some strange reason...

So, I am thankful that the dealer was able to fix this issue with no problems, I was in and out of there in less than an hour, so very happy with the service of the local Honda dealer. One concern though for sure. I have never had this issue happen to me ever. I have always used from the cheapest wiper fluids at Walmart, to the nicer stuff you find at an auto parts store. Either way, I have never experienced this kind of issue with all my prior vehicles. The dealer of course recommended that I use the Rain-x branded fluids moving forward, and to strain or filter the fluid as you are putting it into the car! I found that hilarious, actually straining or filtering the fluid to make sure no impurities get into the tank... I can't believe these new cars can be that sensitive to small impurities with the fluid. That's just crazy to me!
