The contact owns a 2020 Honda Pilot. The contact stated while driving approximately 55 MPH, the vehicle started losing motive power while depressing the accelerator pedal. The check engine warning light was illuminated with a faint smell of a gasoline odor. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the fuel injectors and joint pipe needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and a case was opened. The contact believed that the vehicle was included in an unknown recall. The failure mileage was approximately 34,000.
