CarComplaints.com Notes: We all want our SUVs to be able to stop on a dime, just not randomly and without warning. But that's what was happening to 2005 Pilot owners: their vehicles were slamming on the brakes even when they didn't. A government investigation of this problem led to a recall in March of 2013.
Another issue that keeps popping up is transmission fluid mixing with coolant in the radiator which is causing transmission failure, a costly repair to say the least.

I have been experiencing dimples or dents in the bodywork on the roof right above both the drivers and passengers side. The driver's side had 3 dimples in a row about 2 inches apart and the passenger side had 2 dimples about 2 inches apart. I took it to the dealer but the honda representative wouldn't even look at them saying they weren't defects. I took my vehicle to a body shop and they suctioned out the dimples and my insurance paid for it. This was about a month ago and now I just noticed 3 new dimples but this time they are on the driver's door on the piece right above the mirror that goes down along side the windshield. Anyone else experience this problem? I have seen two other Pilots in my town that seem to have similar dimples/dents in the same area but I couldn't wait for the owner to come back to their vehicles.
