The contact owns a 2000 Honda Passport. The passenger side seat belts locks when a person occupies the front seat. The seat belt is restrictive, and the belt will not un-latch from the buckle. Additionally the ABS system will not activate in situations that warrant. The vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions, and the locks on the seat belt were replaced. He has spent over $2800 replacing various brake components. The failure mileage was zero. The current mileage was 64,000.
When using the seat belts to restrain child seats, the belts would start to unravel as if frayed. The problem is only occuring on the driver's side. Had to replace the seat belts 3 times because of unraveling. The child seat is installed correctly. Cosco alpha omega.
