Since I purchased this vehicle, I mostly parked it in a parking structure, in the shade, but when I had to start doing street parking, mostly in direct sunlight, the paint slowly began to oxidize, turning the vehicle from a shiny black into a dully dark gray.
The thing is, though, that the oxidation rate is inconsistent. Sections of the frame do not oxidize at all (they look near new) while the very next section oxidized much more rapidly. This seems like a paint quality issue, and the car looks bad because of it, making it difficult to sell.
