This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
The left rear door lock does not unlock with the other doors; it comes up halfway but does not allow outside entry. It is necessary to pull up the inside door lock all the way to allow acess from the outside of the vehicle. The central locking system (activated by the driver's door) activates both right side doors but not the left rear door. Also, the engine cannot be started on the first try. The starter engages but the engine does not fire. On the second try, however, the engine will start. All my other vehicles start with "one click"; requiring only minimal cranking. The engine, a 3.2 liter V-6, makes a clicking sound when running; almost like a subdued diesel engine.
