The contact narrowly avoided crashing into other objects due to the failure. The contact had taken the vehicle to the dealer however, the vehicle was not diagnosed. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired and remained with the dealer. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.
