I have had my new 2016 Odyssey for 2 weeks and have noticed a design flaw with the third row head restraints. If you have them up they create a blind spot. Each side head restraint covers about 1/5 of the rear window. The only way that someone can sit in those seats is with the head restraint up because when they are down they over lap the seat by 1/2. For the most part, I have children in the van and these seats are almost always used. So that means that my vision out my back window is cut by 2/5 most of the time. I used to have a 2005 odyssey and this was not a problem with that one. It had smaller restraints like the one in the middle. This would be a great solution. I tried to trade them out for the middle one, but it did not fit. I get that these restraints are for safety, but we need to be able to see out the beautifully large windows that are supposed to eliminate the blind spots.
