CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 and 2015 Honda Odyssey shows an early trend of transmission problems with clunking/jerking when shifting gears.
Most of these Odyssey transmissions are still under warranty, but so far Toyota generally hasn't been able to diagnose or fix the clunking problem — that's the reason for our low rating. Some owners have reported it was a stuck solenoid, & in a few cases Honda has replaced the entire transmission.
As more of these Odysseys start exceeding the 60,000-mile powertrain warranty limit, buyer beware.
Honda undersized their rotors and breaks on the 2014 & 2015 odyssey. At 23,000 miles expect Honda to not honor their warranty for their vehicle due to putting sh*tty parts on their vehicle. The vehicle will shutter and shake like it's going to fall apart when you're braking on the freeway. This is a joke. Even if you do get covered under warranty they only make the problem worse by turning their already undersized rotors in effect making the problem worse.
I attempted to stop behind another car which was stopped at a red light. I had no response when applying the brakes. I hit his car, which needed then to be towed. My front right fender and bumper was smashed in enough that the windshield washer fluid container was showing,
I need to find out if this is a problem with the 2004 Odyssey,
This was my only accident in over 70 years of driving. I never ever had a ticket.
