Paint Chipping
2015 Honda Odyssey
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 and 2015 Honda Odyssey shows an early trend of transmission problems with clunking/jerking when shifting gears.
Most of these Odyssey transmissions are still under warranty, but so far Toyota generally hasn't been able to diagnose or fix the clunking problem — that's the reason for our low rating. Some owners have reported it was a stuck solenoid, & in a few cases Honda has replaced the entire transmission.
As more of these Odysseys start exceeding the 60,000-mile powertrain warranty limit, buyer beware.

NEED HELP!!! I bought a brand new Honda Odyssey 2015 EXL white pearl on July 4, 2015. After only 2 months (I discovered the paint chipping on August 31), there appear some small paint peeling areas. The paint peeling is definitely paint peeling error from Honda, not stone chipping or anything. I bought my car to Honda Motorcars on Sep 1 and then called Honda America (met Dawn) and now after calling them again and again (about 1 month), they told me that they would repaint the affected area! I am worried that the problem will arise in the future. I don't want to spend my hard- earned money on the car that I have to worry whether or not the paint peeling will bother me again! Honda America refused to repaint the whole car at my request! What should I do now? Any suggestion on what steps to take? I am thinking of calling National Center for Dispute Settlement but I don't have any experience dealing with this issue. I would appreciate your advice on this. Thank you!
