CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 and 2015 Honda Odyssey shows an early trend of transmission problems with clunking/jerking when shifting gears.
Most of these Odyssey transmissions are still under warranty, but so far Toyota generally hasn't been able to diagnose or fix the clunking problem — that's the reason for our low rating. Some owners have reported it was a stuck solenoid, & in a few cases Honda has replaced the entire transmission.
As more of these Odysseys start exceeding the 60,000-mile powertrain warranty limit, buyer beware.
I would like Honda to do something about the excessive wind noise. Seems many have complained about this issue and after checking to make sure all windows are up and the moon roof is securely shut the noise sounds as if a window has been cracked open. This is definitely annoying and Honda should remedy the problem.
The worst decision of my life is to buy a Honda vehicle. My new Honda Odyssey makes wind noise even at speeds 35+ mph. I have seen several complaints about it at other websites after I purchased the vehicle.
I have been to dealer service center and other Honda service center. They agree they hear lot of noise but they don't what to do as every comparable vehicle (2015 Odyssey) makes similar noise. And to my surprise that is true, I drove some other 2015 Odyssey EX-L and it was making wind noise too. What a pity when you pay so much money for brand new vehicle and it turns out to be a disaster.
I am complaining to Honda Motors, NHSTA and see if they can help. Will wait for couple of months probably sell it off for a Sienna.
Don't buy this worst Odyssey ever. If you are planning to buy please pay attention as once you buy the car then no one cares for you.
