Running Roughly
2014 Honda Odyssey
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 and 2015 Honda Odyssey shows an early trend of transmission problems with clunking/jerking when shifting gears.
Most of these Odyssey transmissions are still under warranty, but so far Toyota generally hasn't been able to diagnose or fix the clunking problem — that's the reason for our low rating. Some owners have reported it was a stuck solenoid, & in a few cases Honda has replaced the entire transmission.
As more of these Odysseys start exceeding the 60,000-mile powertrain warranty limit, buyer beware.

Bought this van used for my wife and it seemed OK at first, but then it started running rough and progressively got worse. We had an extended warranty, so I took it to a reputable shop and they worked on it for a couple of days and determined that it was the transmission and was still under the Honda warranty. Took it to the Honda dealership and they had it for less than 1-day and told me it was partially fixed.
I asked them what was wrong and this is what I got from them:
1.) They state that this problem is very common on the 2014 Touring and Touring Elite vans (so don't let your dealer tell you something different).
2.) They flushed the transmission with clean fluid and this seems to have corrected the issue.
3.) They also stated that Honda is working on a Programming Fix that should be available in a few weeks. They will call me when they can re-program the van.
