vehicle shakes when driving

My 2013 Honda Odyssey with 120K miles would shake when driving a t highway speeds only when accelerating. I replaced my tires and had an alignment, but it still would occur. I had to replace both CV joint/shaft to fix the problem. I did the work myself and saved money. I rented some parts from my local auto parts store for free and bought the aftermarket CV joints for a fraction of the price. I am not a mechanic, but saw several YouTube videos online on how to replace it. Car no longer shakes when driving highway speeds.

I bought the Odyssey used from the local Honda dealership, and noticed the bouncing right away but probably didn't find it that bad as I like the van. Took the vehicle in for services and thought it would be noticed or addressed, but nothing. I really notice it when I am in traffic and the hole van feels like it is shaking back and forth, at higher speeds the wheel vibrates back and forth but still stays in a straight line.

I took the vehicle in to have this looked at and they told me the tires are out of balance, so I am taking to get new tires and balanced at Discount tires.. they are bald, something else that was not mentioned during the last services. If the problem persists I am going to take it in for an alignment. I will continue to update with the latest on this.

Ditto to complaint number one. Told the new van shakes as Eco mode goes on and off. Horrible design flaw, horrible van

Odyssey EX-L RES 3.5L V6

When I drove my brand new van off the lot, I noticed the vehicle shaking right away. I took it right back, and they rebalanced the tires (found them out of balance) and sent me on my way. Unfortunately, the vehicle still shakes quite a bit. I would venture to say that a vehicle with a balance problem probably shakes less. The dealer agreed that the vehicle shakes and had me drive another vehicle of the same exact model. I was surprised that the other vehicle shook just as much. The dealer believes it is the VCM (aka ECO) mode of the transmission. However, I can feel the vibration when the ECO comes on and off, and the vehicle still shakes regardless of whether or not it is on. The dealer's position is that this is the way that the Odyssey rides. I've owned other Hondas, and would be surprised if Honda was actually okay putting brand new vehicles on the market that shake as much as mine does. It is either a defect that is not being owned up to or a serious design flaw. Either way, I will most likely not buy another Honda, which is sad considering I've owned Hondas for 18 years. I can't believe I actually have to live with a brand new vehicle that I now hate.
