There is no rhyme or reason we can find as to why this door will not close each time and stay closed. By the time I get my phone out to video - it closes. Thankfully, it does not open while I am driving. I have to make sure and press it when it appears it will finally close securely to make sure so it will lock. I have come out of a store and it be wide open before I realized this defect. There is nothing in the track, nothing preventing it from closing. I have taken it to the dealership where I purchased the vehicle and it will never do the almost close then reopen for them as it does with me. I will continue to try and get a video of it when it is happening and get it posted here. I have grandchildren, and my concern is for them as well as the potential for easy entry by anyone I do not want in my vehicle when I am away from it.
