This was a minor issue that ended up taking 5 trips to the dealer to repair. They did not diagnose the problem correctly, fixed items that did not correct the problem the first 4 times, and each time let the vehicle out of the shop with the same rattle. This was an obvious rattle, not intermittent. First fix was a loose parking brake cable. Second fix was a missing clip in the hatch. Third claim was...we can not reproduce the rattle. Fourth claim was...its a loose license plate, which they did not tighten. Fifth time was a charm as they finally replaced a faulty hatch motor which resolved the rattle. Service manager was very attentive to problem after the 4th time and repaired it satisfactorily...but still how can a car go out of a shop 4 times with same rattle? Obviously a quality control issue.
