I noticed several people mentioning rotor issues on 2008 odysseys so I wanted to share that I am having identical experiences (major front end shudder) on my new 2010 ody. I guess I should have gone to another brand. NEVER had rotor issues with any other (non-Honda) car I have owned - particularly not with 20,000 miles on it.
Dealer and Honda says it is a maintenance item. Rotors that warp at 20,000 miles are not maintenance items, they are poor quality and DANGEROUS! I don't care for much government intervention, but if the government wasn't to get involved ... make Honda put decent rotors on their cars to make them SAFE! Make the brake system like seat belts, if my seat belt broke tomorrow they would be all over it.
