I bought the Honda Odyssey 18 months ago. It had 103,000 miles. My son is disabled so I bought the van to modify - which I did. The engine light and VSA light came on. I took it to the dealership and found out that there had been a recall which I NEVER knew about. It was out of warranty for the recall. My gripe is that I bought the vehicle and registered in my name.
I took it to the Honda dealership after I bought it to make sure everything was good. NO ONE Mentioned any RECALLS at all!!!! That would have been good to know since it was the last year to fix the recall problem. Nothing said until it happened - a piston problem that is costing me $2,900.00 to fix. This is so wrong.
