No Honda service department has been able to identify or fix the problem. It happens EVERY morning when I start it and the one morning it was left with the dealer overnight they informed me that they did not hear it when they start it.

My Honda odyssey has a mystery noise according to curry Honda in Atlanta. They sold me the van & now they have left me stranded and are more worried about losing money on a courtesy vehicle than losing a faithful customer. They do not know what the noise is so American Honda said "we have policies - because the dealer can't figure out the noise we will not provide you any transportation". I bought my first civic in 79 it was a good company then. I have owned 4 hondas since. This is the last straw. American Honda has made an enemy with an American. I did not ask to purchase a van from Honda that makes an awful noise when it cranks. I did not ask them to be baffled by the problem. I did ask them to sell me a van that got me from point a to point b. They have failed. They sold me a van that is making a mystery noise on the first crank. now because they are not claiming to have knowledge of the problem Honda's policy is to leave me high and dry with no transportation. They documented the problem a month ago. Told me please drive it until the van breaks or the noise gets worse. Now they are twisting their words around and saying that there is a noise but we are not sure if it is what the customer claims he hears. Everyone says that they heard a noise on first crank but they lied and told American honda some bs to get out of giving me transportation. I can't get to work. The manager of curry Honda said he does not want to lose his business money. It is ok for me to be inconvenienced and for me to lose money but not American Honda. Bottom line is here is a car company that has beat me down so bad I give up. My blood pressure is through the roof. I bought this van for my American family and it is a problem noises no one has ever heard dealers luring to get out of a courtesy vehicle. Me stranded with no transportation because my wife took my car. The lady at American Honda said if this was happening to me I would be upset but we have protocol and your sol you American sucker. We have your money. We sold you a broken van and we have policy to keep us from fixing it because we don't know what the noise is. You win the war Honda. Your team has beat me with stress I give up keep my money sell me poop what am I to do? I am a dumb American consumer and you are the Japanese power house that I donated money to to help you with your earthquakes. You got my money coming and going you win! Btw my dads fit has been plagued with recalls. The lights stopped working with him driving my kids around. I am glad I donated money to help a country that would not help me with the product they sold me. I guess life is a one way street. One way for Japan and Honda. One wrong way!
