CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2007-2009 was, at one point, the best selling minivan in the United States. But 2007 owners got the short end of that deal.
Peeling paint, a whining steering pump and an easily breakable A/C condenser are all top complaints about the 2007 model year. And anyone who doesn't think a busted minivan A/C is a big deal has never taken a summer road trip with kids.

Tires prurchased from walmart 10/6/18 were installed improperly and they changed the manufactures calibration. The TPMS light came on, I returned the van to walmart; they never fixed the problem and I made five visits. The manager did not know what a TPMS sensor was; did not have any in the shop. I frequently had the air pressure in the tire checks. Two weeks ago, driving the van the tires seemed to be wobbly, I had the air pressure checked again and again. On April 15, 2021, I filed a complaint with walmart at the main office and took the SUV to the hammond, Indiana car center. After haggling with the staff fo over 4 hours, they replaced the two tire. The problem of the wobbling tires had not been solved. Only the wobbling was less noticeable. I made over 20 telephone calls to the car center without the phone being answered. Today I filed another complaint with walmart headquarters.martha, the person that took the complaint stated that I would be contacted by the car center. This center should be closed; lives are at stack and the workers are rude and are not following the tread act. I never experienced the TPMS coming on until walmart replaced my tires. My mechanic drive the SUV and his observation was "the front tires are out of round by 1/4 inch and inner side wall bulging". his first observation was in October 2018, shortly after walmart installed the tires. On 4/15/21, I contacted Goodyear and they gave no information on TPMS. I do not feel safe driving this SUV ad I believe that walmart is violating the tread act. They reluctantly replaced the tires, but even worse the TPMS light is still on. There were no notifications posted on the walls in that car center. In addition, my son recently purchased tires for his SUV from this same walmart he was not given any information about TPMS sensors and none were installed.

I purchased this used car in March 2020. The issue I am having is with the brakes. The car require a more than usual pedal pressure for the brakes to stop the car. This could be dangerous when the car is moving in high speed. I have also researched online and found out that there are a lot of Honda odessey owners are complaining about same issue.
Van takes too long to stop. Pedal feels high, but stopping takes too long. New brakes have been installed and problem still persists. I consider this to be an extremely dangerous condition. It seems more pronounced at highway speeds.
The contact owns a 2007 Honda Odyssey. The contact stated that the brake fluid needed to be topped off every three weeks. There were no leaks and a warning indicator was not illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, but the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 111,000.
Brake pedal travels nearly to floor before braking becommes effective..often requires pumping pedal to get effective braking. Several trips to repair shops required expensive bleeding air from brake lines and fluid replacement. Problem reappears after a few weeks.
I done all new break pads router job after about one month my break paddle became soft wean I aplay break car can't stop need long distance to stop. My wife drives the car and she is so scared to drive this problem I noticed every time I done break job after some time I didn't know watt to do! it's vehicle manufacturing problem?
Any time I am driving at a relatively high speed (45+) going downhill and need to brake, the vehicle vibrates significantly. I looked this up and it appears to be a very common issue with Honda Odyssey -- warped rotors, and not due to overuse or high miles. My Honda actually has pretty low miles. It is very concerning when I'm driving with my family in the mountains and feel like I almost don't have control of the car since it shakes so much. There should be a recall since this is easily a $500-1000 fix. As for the date below, it's been happening for years, so I just put in the most recent date. We camped last weekend and it happened yet again. Finally prompted me to file a complaint...
A vsa with a triangle warning sign is on in my dashboard, I scare the ABS brakes will not work properly and it doesn't work the vsa switch on the left side of the dash neither to switch on or off, I check tires and looks ok the pressure of each, is any recall about this problem with this Honda odissey '07?
The contact owns a 2007 Honda Odyssey. While driving 20 mph, the brake pedal malfunctioned and traveled to the floorboard. The vehicle was taken to the dealer (tom scott Honda, 603 11th ave N, nampa, id 83687, (208) 466-3248) where it was diagnosed that the master cylinder and booster needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact took the vehicle to several independent mechanics who diagnosed that the master cylinder had not malfunctioned and no leaks were found. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 229,000.
My back passengerdoor been acting up since I bought my 2007 Honda Odyssey I will hit the button to open the passengerback door it will start opening and all a sudden it will just start shuttingon peoplei have to hit the button to stop it from shutting on people and when my fuelget down to a quarter of a tank my fuel pump start making a weird sound until I fill my tank up with fuel then when it get low again it start making the sound again and I have had my 2007 Honda Odyssey for a little over a year now and I have already change my brakes 3 times already and change my rotors once
Vsa light came on then the car will not go over 2000 rpms and the steering gets hard. The brakes go to floor making hard brake feel. This happened on the interstate.
When traveling at low speed (5-10 mph) and depressing the brake pedal, the car suddenly accelerated. This happened on two separate occasions. Feb 1, 2018 and Feb 14, 2018. The problem caused minor accidents in both cases. On Feb 1, the car was in a parking lot, pulling into a parking space, depressed the brake pedal, and the car accelerated and ran over a handicapped parking sign. On Feb 14, in rush hour traffic on the highway, traveling approximately 10 mph, depressed the brake, and the car accelerated into a tractor-trailer causing extensive damage to the Odyssey, but not to the tractor trailer. The Honda dealership maintains that there is nothing wrong with the car, no problem with the brakes or accelerator. As the owner, I am convinced there is a problem and the car is not safe to drive, and in fact we have gotten rid of the car and bought a new one because of this problem. I also did some research online and discovered that 22 other people had had a similar problem with the 2007 Odyssey. I'm concerned that there is need for a recall, but Honda is not acknowledging the problem.
