CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2007-2009 was, at one point, the best selling minivan in the United States. But 2007 owners got the short end of that deal.
Peeling paint, a whining steering pump and an easily breakable A/C condenser are all top complaints about the 2007 model year. And anyone who doesn't think a busted minivan A/C is a big deal has never taken a summer road trip with kids.

Light to moderate brake pedal pressure reliably results in a harmonic/vibratory noise emanating from the right rear, especially at low speeds while turning either direction. This occurs most readily at low speeds and will not occur at highway speeds. I took this to a repair shop and they mistakenly turned the front rotors, which did nothing to fix the noise. Rain or shine, warm or cold, this noise erupts out of the right rear and is not making the wife happy. I removed the brake shoes after dealing with this for some months, and the pads look great, as does the right rear rotor. Wear is minimal on the pads and the wear is even. All other nearby structures appear OK. The sound is best described as a loud whine-vibratory and shrill, something like the squeal of air brakes. The dealer has heard this story a number of times and they would be happy to start digging deep into my wallet, but my enthusiasm for that is quite limited. I cleaned the pads, rotors and antisqueal plates, reinstalled them all...and the noise came right back. Joy!
