Leather Seats Are Cracking
2007 Honda Odyssey
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2007-2009 was, at one point, the best selling minivan in the United States. But 2007 owners got the short end of that deal.
Peeling paint, a whining steering pump and an easily breakable A/C condenser are all top complaints about the 2007 model year. And anyone who doesn't think a busted minivan A/C is a big deal has never taken a summer road trip with kids.

Why buy Honda if this is what you get? Both front 'leather' seats melted when seat heaters were used (real leather doesn't melt). Safety hazard, but (so sorry) out of warranty. 'Leather' seats peeling everywhere. Absolute garbage materials. We've had other issues as well, but reported separately. We paid a lot of money for this van with the expectation of higher quality. It's not the case. Taffeta white paint peeling off everywhere, oil leaks, transmission leaks, AC failure, alternator failure, hydraulic and static motor mount failures, power steering failure - the list is long. We've owned several brand new Honda cars over the years, but no more. This van and Honda's failure to help us means we buy a different brand. So, again, why buy Honda if this is what you get?
