- Power Steering Pump Noise - Try this first before buying new pump. It worked for me. Remove fluid reservoir and back flush with water using a garden hose. Dry with blow mode of vacuum cleaner. Replace o rings on pump....every simple to do on both the inlet and outlet hose. This seals new pump and no air can now enter pump. Reconnect all hose fittings. This fix will cost about $2.00 for Honda o rings and a quart of Honda power steering fluid. All less than $15.00 to repair. THIS WORKED FOR ME ! Try it first.....
