Driver side passenger seatbelt doesnt stay tight for my daughters car seat abd unable to use other seat as that door doesnt work at all anymore. One of the seat belts for the middle seat does not have a standard release button. Instead, you have to try to use the metal clip piece or a key or other rigid thing item to release the belt. I always thought of this as an annoying design, but did not realize how dangerous this was until my daughter got it wrapped around her neck. The seat belt was locked in the ceiling and retracting tighter as she struggled. She is fine and I got her out without any real damage, but this is an incredibly dangerous design and should not be allowed as some other child may not be as lucky. The car was not moving at the time, it was parked. It happened in my moms 2016 Odyssey, but it has the same design in my vehicle listed.

The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the seat belt was acting as designed. The contact believed that the seat belts posed a safety hazard because they automatically retracted and would not stop. The failure and current mileages were 123,000.
