2006 Odyssey has an inconsistent hesitation / stutter between 1500 - 2000 RPM. Through the years it has gotten worse and much more annoying. I called a Honda dealer and the repair tech claims he has never heard of it. I told him to Google "2006 Odyssey hesitation" to be updated. On our last family trip to Vermont we weren't sure that we would make it home. If Honda could repair the whining power steering pump and this annoying hesitation I would continue to endorse their product. I will post an update next week after my phone calls to Honda (1800-999-1009) and my local dealer - Charlie's Honda in Maine.

Update from Dec 22, 2011: Dealer and my wife did a road test and she repeatedly had the vehicle do the hesitation. The tech looked into the matter and reported that the problem was not significant enough due to the vehicle not displaying any problem codes. He also felt that the problem could be a failing transmission. The repair cost would be over $4000. I still feel that the problem is with the EGR or torque sensor

More than one year ago, the engine light came on and I took to dealer. Tech guy said that adjusting value issue so I spend $150. It was okay at that time. After few weeks, the engine light came on again so I took it again to dealer so I spent $800 to fix. It was okay at that time. After a month, the engine light came on again. I took to dealer. Tech guy said that I need to leave a car for three days. They called American Honda and they replaced 6 cylinders and the total was about $700. I thought that was solving problem at that time. After one year, the engine light came on. I took to my mechanic friend and check engine code. It is still random misfire.... I don't know why Honda dealer can't not figure out what the problem is. I am really hesitating to take to dealer to ask to fix. I will probably spend $700 + to fix this ridiculous problem.
