The gas charged rear gate lift supports on my 2006 Honda Odyssey have failed for the THIRD time. I paid the Honda dealer big buckets to replace the lifts in the past. The lifts supplied by Honda appear to be made in China. Dealer wants $250 to replace with the same junk! I have bought, Made in the USA lifts for $52.00 on line. Honda Inc. needs to rethink where/who their lift supplier is before someone gets hurt and they have a serious lawsuit filed against them.
