2005 Honda Odyssey - Same as others. It's January and no turn signals, no power locks, no power doors, no intermittent wipers, no windshield washer fluid pump, no rear wiper, etc. I looked around on the internet and found others with the same problems. I checked all fuses and even changed a few that I thought might be the culprit. Still doesn't work. I wiggled the small fuse box under hood and they started working again for about an hour but the same problem is back. Some people have suggested that it may be the fuse box/multiplex unit that houses the fuses. That makes more sense to me because all of these functions are on different fuses and for all of them to not work the problem has to be more than one burnt fuse. I'll try to see if the dealer can take a look. Hopefully it's covered under my 7 year warranty.
THE MOST ANNOYING IS THAT I NEED TO MANUALLY LOCK THE SLIDER BEFORE THE REMOTE CONTROL WILL LOCK ALL THE DOORS, =IF THE SLIDER ISN'T LOCKED THEN NONE OF DOORS WILL LOCK. IF I LEAVE IT LOCKED, THEN I CAN't OPEN THE DOOR, EVEN AFTER THE OTHERS DOORS ARE UNLOCKED, IT IS IN MANUAL. THANKS FOR LISTENING
loss of turn signals, power door locks, high beams
Update from Oct 21, 2011: clean every electrical connectors and the fuses boxes under the hood I did it and everything became normal every thing it is working now
Intermittent wipers, high beams, turn signals, driver side sliding door and rear door, keyless entry remotes, driver side door locks, quit functioning. Things began functioning correctly a few hours later and then stopped working again. Dealer has no idea what the problem is. Any ideas.
Update from Apr 29, 2009: Began working once it was taken in for service then quit working again.
After a heavy rain storm, I attempted to open the doors on my 2005 Odyssey LX with the key fob. The power locks would not function. After starting the van and driving away, I noticed that the turn signals, intermittent front wipers and the high beams were not functioning. Went home and put van in my garage and all started working next morning. By afternoon, same problem. Next day and thereafter no more problems. Checked fusses, and all were good. Contacted dealer, no help in brainstorming what had happened. Maybe water from storm shorted out a part of the fuse system and once the system was dry, worked normally !
