Car was sitting for a few months not being used and then drove it about 150 miles and Check Engine Light appeared. Took it in to get a diagnosis and mechanic wasn't sure what the issue was. They topped it off with power steering fluid because it was very low. Heard a strange noise when driving but thought nothing of it because of Chicago pot holes. Thought I heard a misfire or a crank shaft issue. Mechanic turned off check engine light and will be monitoring going forward. Time to sell!!!
Also under the hood seemed warmer than usual and also lots of condensation near metal parts. Looks like there is also some oil leakage and grime on surrounding parts. Also this happened when I was using Cruse control and then, when I stopped using it, the light came on. Will not be using cruise control again and will drive super slow. Car and engine sounds like it was rattling when light came on and power steering fluid was like a tornado inside. Any help is greatly appreciated.
