I recently had a problem with my van misfiring. The mechanic found that the camshaft position sensor was bad. when he went to repair the sensor, he found that another sensor that works with the cam sensor was never installed, which may have caused the cam sensor to go bad.. Needless to say, i had to pay for this sensor, as well as an extra hour of labor.
